We have a birthday tradition of escape room and then dinner date. We chose Reunion since it was close by and the menu looked great. We over ordered as usual, but everything was great! Brussels sprouts were a huge hit at the table. We also tried the calamari, coconut shrimp, miso garlic noodles, and avocado wontons for appetizers. For entrees we had the ribeye, the cioppino, and the prime rib. The ribeye was pricey and not the best I've had but still good. For dessert, we had the butter cake, the pumpkin butter cake, and the whiskey bread pudding. All of them were amazing! Our server was great, she was checking on us without being intrusive. Can't wait to come back!
Good thing we had a reservation because it was packed! I suggest to make reservations sooner than later too, since there weren't too many times available when we made one the day before. Parking was easy, it's in a large plaza with plenty of spots available. The location says Anaheim but it's really Anaheim Hills. Food was delicious, we ordered the short ribs stroganoff and the Crispy Pancetta Pasta with the extra cost for blackened chicken. They came out with the wrong short ribs without stroganoff but they quickly corrected themselves and brought out the correct dish. Towards the end of our dinner, they gave hot towels to wipe our hands, what a nice touch to end the meal! When it came to the bill, they added extra charges of 2 margaritas and a Coke that we didn't order, good thing i checked before I paid, so make sure you check your bill! They apologized and removed those charges so it's all good. Overall the food and drinks were yummy, wa waitress was attentive- would come again to try the other entrees!
Food was great... portions were nice! Loved the atmosphere and our server was efficient, nice and attentive Calamari was a little thick cut and slightly undercooked but about a 7/10 The rest of the experience overshadowed the calamari 10/10
This was the first time I visited this place and I will definitely come back. The ambience is nice, our servers Sean was pleasant and did not make us wait at all. The food was delish, portions were perfect and the price was right. I will definitely come back.
Came here for a work lunch. Didn't know what to expect, other than so many people recommended this place to us. We ordered sticky Asian ribs, deviled eggs, and jalapeño poppers to start and share. Ribs were sticky and good, poppers a lil spicy, but yummy, but the deviled eggs is a must try, don't miss! 5-stars! I ordered the Rosemary Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, biscuit, apple butter and veggies. Wow, the fried chicken is crunchy and delicious! Served boneless breasts, the apple butter was also great! You have to try this here, they're kinda known for it. My colleagues ordered ahi tuna salad, smash burgers, steak, and warm steak and potato salad. All seems to enjoy their meals. We also shared their butter cake and pumpkin spiced butter cake (released last week, and not on the menu), bomb, yum, delish!! I should've have ordered a butter cake to go. I'm only bummed I don't have a Reunion Kitchen near me. If you're in the area and fortunate to have a Reunion Kitchen close to you , stop by and enjoy their delicious food! The staff members are also friendly.
It was pretty good most of us got burgers/sandwiches. Waiter was nice. Clean environment
We have eaten at Reunion Kitchen several times and took the opportunity to return for a late lunch/early dinner after doing an escape room nearby. The restaurant is dimly lit, has a modern look, and has a very cozy feel. The booths are very comfortable and the décor is very nice. I have never sat at the bar, but the big display of liquor bottles lit from below is stunning. We started out with the avocado wonton appetizer. When it arrived at the table I forgot what we ordered and actually thought it was ahi as the watermelon comically fooled me. It was very good and refreshing, although four slightly smaller wontons would have been a little easier to share for two people. For entrees we ordered the crispy pancetta pasta with blackened chicken and the OC sourdough burger. Half way through my pasta I realized the pancetta was missing. Our server apologized and quickly brought me a side of pancetta. She also noticed there was tomato on the burger which was ordered with no tomato and apologized again. No big deal, it was easy to take off. Both the pasta and burger were very good and very filling. The crunchy garlic bread was a nice addition to the pasta dish. The manager offered us a free desert to make up for the mistakes which was a nice gesture. Who doesn't love chocolate so we ordered Bob's hot fudge cake. We were wowed when a giant ice cream sandwich looking dessert arrived. We have definitely never seen a dessert presentation like that, and what a delicious and very filling dessert it was. The menu has a very wide variety of different selections without being overwhelming. This is definitely a place to try if you haven't been here before.
The food was good, but I just think they're doing a bit too much here. Okay quality, but the portions are so enormous. Which normally wouldn't be a bad thing, but everything I tried was just greasy. Maybe they're going for a Cheesecake Factory type of thing? If you're thinking, "wow why doesn't she just eat at home then?", don't worry because I'm asking myself the same thing lol.
It's still one of our favorite restaurants in Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda. It's difficult to find a restaurant that's consistent with the quality of food, drinks, and service, and RK got it all down! We usually get the CRISPY CALAMARI to start. Thick strips of calamari that's breaded and deep fried with a slaw and tartar sauce. Tender, crisp, you need to get it! Hubby gets the CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH. The portion is huge!!! Well seasoned, crispy chicken, generous with the bacon strips and avocado. It's so good! I love all their SALADS like Salmon Citrus and Chicken Cobb, but I've recently been loving the STEAK and POTATO SALAD. Steak is perfectly cooked to my liking, tender, and seasoned well, and the warm potato salad is addicting! They have the best cocktails in town! We love their Margarita, Mai Tai and Vanilla Old Fashioned. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I recently dined at Reunion Kitchen + Drink in Anaheim, CA, and it was a fantastic experience. We enjoyed cocktails and calamari to start, followed by perfectly cooked medium rare steak and a fresh salad. The miso noodles, fried chicken with gravy, and ahi tuna nachos were all delicious as well. The romantic lighting inside creates a cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out with friends and grab a drink. The service was excellent, and the free parking is a bonus. I will definitely be coming back again!
